HIMax, the new safety system from HIMA Paul Hildebrandt GmbH + Co KG for medium-sized and large applications, is safeguarding the chlorine production process at Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG’s Gendorf facility. The leading German PVC manufacturer was won over by HIMA’s total redundancy concept, which guarantees the continuous operation of the chlorine plant. “The performance of the PES was one of the things that swung the decision in favour of HIMax. It has the performance needed for the machine applications, especially the pump limit regulation,” explains Peter Grandl, EMR technician in the chlorine production area at Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG Burgkirchen. ...

HIMA, announced today that its popular SILworX engineering tool is now available for use with its HIMatrix product series. SILworX simplifies the hardware configuration and allows for version comparisons of individual projects within HIMatrix systems. Changes can be easily tracked and no longer require a technical approval of the entire system. In addition, hardware and software parameterisation is clearly displayed in one window.
The SILworX tool, which was originally developed for the HIMax system, adds significant value to the HIMatrix system by providing common configuration, programming and diagnostic tools. In addition, SILworX simplifies the creation of application software, while helping to reduce planning and engineering costs.
SILworX provides customers with a fully integrated software platform that simplifies the engineering process over the entire lifecycle, while also making it more efficient and economical. The tool is very easy to use because of an intuitive step-by-step user interface with a graphic action bar and a total graphic drag-and-drop programming option. ...
