The four phases of commissioning
1. Power-up
- Connect and check the power supply and fuses.
- Load the necessary programs.
- Secure the availability of the HIMA systems.
2. Loop-checks
- Check the wiring to all the field instruments.
- Check distributors between instruments and HIMA systems.
3. Functional checks
- Functional checking of all systems.
- Run through the process.
4. Hot-commissioning
- Step-by-step commissioning of all systems and processes.
- Active assistance when TÜV tests the plant and any systems requiring approval.
- Drawing up a back-up and commissioning log.
