HIMA ProCom is a comprehensive system that implements all the functions required for operating rotating equipment into a single platform that complies with standards. Functions include startup and shutdown procedures, anti-surge and overspeed protection, and condition monitoring. With visualization and databases for predictive maintenance, all functions are combined for the relevant application in a modular manner. This eliminates the need for numerous separate solutions from different manufacturers. HIMA ProCOM uses the Smart Safety Platform from HIMA with the central engineering and diagnosis tool SILworX.
Electronic overspeed protection is the heart of any turbine safety system. That’s why our engineers have developed a special solution that complies with one of the most rigorous international requirements: the SIL 3 standard. The module ensures consistent speed monitoring and reacts to changes within 20 milliseconds. It is also very easy to install and can be adjusted as needed.
From flow-rate calculation to setpoint specification, standardized HIMA ProCOM function blocks enable you to commission your machinery in less time and reduce costs. Whether you want to control turbines or compressors, with just a few clicks you can adjust critical thresholds and constantly monitor the machine’s condition.
